Need some help

I have been having issues with microsoft office the past couple of weeks
about the entire thing itself and got fustrated enough I needed to find
a tech forum to help me out. So heres the problem
everytime I try to add remove edit or put my serial key into the program
I get the fun error Setup cannot continue because a required file is
corrupted or not available..... etc
Now before you quote off some microsoft help sites Ill add in I have
already tried to install the microsoft utility package but heres the
error I get when I try to install that. I get a script error code
800A0046.
Basicaly All I want to do is run and use office >.> but its being a pain
in the Ass about letting me... I need to use it for school use so any
help would be appreciated thanks.

Next please tell us whether or not you had a trial version of Office
already installed on your system. Most new machines come with trial
versions of Office 2007 which people aren't aware of.
Assuming you had the trial version of Office, you first need to
un-install it from your system by going to Control Panel/ Add|Remove
programs. You will see an entry for Office 2007 and PERHAPS an entry
for Activation Wizard. You need to remove both but sometimes there is
no entry for Activation Wizard in which case you don't have to do
anything.
You then need to switch off the system and reboot it so that the
computer starts afresh without the useless stuff. You can now try to
install from your office CD with your license code.
