I am using XP (home) and Office 2002. How do I get a sound when the Caps
Lock key is pressed. I have tried the Accessibility toggle key instruction
and the Num Lock shortcut but they have no effect.

This setting actually uses the PC's speaker, rather than the sound card (at
least on my computer). So... you've tried Start - Settings - Control Panel -
Accessibility - Keyboard tab, ToggleKeys? And it doesn't work for you? Works
fine, here. Are you sure your PC's speaker is connected & working?

I am a first time user of this Discussion Group facility and I don't know how
to post my question "in the newsgroups so everyone can follow along".
Yes, my speakers are connected and working.
Thanks for trying to help
