I know this is not the project newsgroup, but since nobody can help me
there and this seems to be a general problem:
since years I use Project 2000 Standard without problems.
suddenly I get this:
.
- Programm Start
- MS-Project runs
but then, after a few seconds:
Errormessage:
MS Project for Windows application file found a Problem and has to be
closed
After clicking the button "Do not Send" Project is ended.
No success with Repair and complete Newinstallation.
MS-Project 2000, SR1
XP Pro SP2
I did an Office-Online Update last week and since then I got this
problem
Could this be a mixup because I have 2000 and 2003 programms on my PC?
Any hints?

"Windows application file found a problem and has to be closed"
Thats all I have
When I click on "Debug" the Window is immediatly closed.
I could send you the report file, if thats any help.
I deinstalled Project the second time and found the registry entries
where still present.

Can you open Project in safe mode?

sorry my answer tool so long, but I was out of town..
>Do you have Norton?
I had, but I deinstalled it completely. And it worked before with
Norton.
In the meantime I also deinstalled MS-Project and installed it again
and repaired it, but no help.
Maybe something in the registry is wrong, but I dont know where to
look..

It' s a long file (53k) but I can't find anything wrong in there.
