MSN Hotmail not opening up from email link?

Have a PC which I ave Hotmail as the default email client. And my USER is
setup to automatically login into passport. When I click on an email link
in IE, instead of Hotmail opening up I get an error in the browser....

What is causing this? Using the latest WinXP SP2.

You can try removing the Passport account on the system and resetting it to
see if that may fix this error. To do so, click Start --> Run --> type in
"control userpasswords2" (no quotations) --> click Advanced tab in User
Accounts window --> click Manage Passwords and remove both xx...@hotmail.com
account and Passport.Net account. Then try re-connecting to Hotmail and
inputting your username and password info.
