MSMQ Setup over VPN error 0xC00E0090

Greetings,

I'm attempting to install Message Queuing on my XP Professional Version
2002 SP2. I am logged in under my domain account. I am also VPN'ed
into my network.

While MQ is installing, I get the following error:

Message Queueing Client Setup Failure

The properties of this computer were not obtained from the Messages
Queuing server.

Error Code: 0xC00E0090
Error Description: A local user is authenticated as an anonymous user
and cannot access Active Directory. You need to log on as a domain user
to access Active Directory.

My domain account is an administrator on the local machine.

I'm guessing that VPN is complicating the matter, but the network is
located on the other side of the USA, so I'm looking for a solution
where I do not need to go there to get MQ installed.

You need to make sure that you're actually authenticating against the DC
using your domain account, and that Kerberos authentication was successful.
Even though you logged in using your domain account, was your initial
login to the machine using that account? Does the machine have an object
in Active Directory?
