Yesterday I started seeing a really bad problem. I have an MSN account
that I connect to using Entourage, and when I open the account I see
mail download, but then a few moments later the messages start
disappearing. I'm not touching the keyboard in the mean time so it
doesn't appear to be queued up keystrokes or anything like that. When I
open the deleted folder I see the mail, and I also get an error message
about not being able to empty the deleted folder and that Hotmail does
that automatically, so it seems it is trying to delete messages from
there too. So far this is *not* happening on the Exchange account I've
got set up within Entourage, only the MSN account.

Any ideas???

Thanks,

Heath

I checked and had two mailing list rules, deleted them both and the
problem went away. I'm very glad it was solved, but there seems to be a
bug in there somewhere: the newsletter functionality really doesn't ask
me much input, and I had some pretty bad behavior from it.

Thanks for the follow up!

I'm glad it worked. It really is a pain that the rules get confused like
that and start pointing to the wrong locations after database rebuilt.
