ranji,
If your server is crashing or hanging you might want to
<snipped>
At the moment, it looks like you have .Net code that just threw an unhandled
exception, but we don't know what your code is doing.

Thanks for the response. The event log that I posted is from the web server
itself. Since I posted this message, I have a similar error that has shown
up in the eventlog of the web server..

I found this link

wondering if this might explain the error we are noticing.

"ranji abraham" <abr...@indiana.edu> wrote in message news:bqlb3n$amr$1...@hood.uits.indiana.edu...Greetings,
Thank you for replying and the detailed information regarding this issue!
The kb article 326366 is applied to .Net framework 1.0 sp1. Since the second log from you tell us that "Failed to load resources from resource file". So
far as I know on this issue, I'd suggest you may follow the .net documentation to run aspnet_iisreg.exe for the configuration of .Net 1.1 which may
help some for you. Please go to:
Configuring an ASP.NET Application for an ASP.NET Version
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/cpguide/html/cpconconfiguringaspnetapplicationforaspnetversion.asp
Then if the issue remains, I'd suggest you can use filemon to monitor the error process to try to locate when the failure was thrown. The filemon is
available from www.sysinternals.com. Please go to:
http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/source/filemon.shtml
You can filter the file record with the process id from the event viewer.
In another way, you may also uninstall the IIS with asp.net support and reinstall them which may provide some assistance on this issue.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any further questions.
