Hi,

I've the problem described below.

I installed internet explorer 5.0 SP1 and outlook express on a
workstation running Solaris 7 with the last recommended patches
(released on Aug 31 2001).
If I try to launch outlook express from IE5 it starts but the GUI
doesn't appear. I've the same behaviour also if I try to launch outlook
from the command prompt with IE5 already running.
Moreover, if I launch outlook as first it runs correctly, but when I try
to launch IE5 I've the same problem.
In all those situations, if I kill the process running correctly the GUI
of the second one appears.
I traced both the processes and it seems the second one loops trying to
read some dynamic libraries until a kill signal is received by the first
one.
I've also the same problem with the previous release of IE5 and it
doesn't depend on which user runs both the programs.

Finally, a collegue of mine has Solaris 2.6 and both the programs runs
correctly.

Do you know some trick to bypass the problem?

Thanks and sorry for my not perfect English.
