Question that I think will be interesting for everybody.

Is there any CRM (microsoft, 3rd part) integrated with SBF or GP?
Any suggestion, because SBF is good but everybody wants more and more.

thanks

Vitali

Microsoft CRM 3.0 integrates with GP 9.0 through the XML processing engine.
As for SBF, there are a few third party add-ons that are available, and it's
possible to integrate it with CRM 3.0 as well.

I think NolanComputer has a crm to sbf module. It is several thousand dollar

Any ideas when new version SBF will be?
It usually take half a year after GP?

Can somebody correct me if I am wrong.
SBF has the same structure and code as GP - library dynamics.dic include all
functionality of GP, SBF has the same DB but only it is restricted in module
dynamics.dic
If you know what are you doing you can add some functionality in SBF very
easy.

So, as my thought XML processing engine for GP 9.0 should work for SBF new
version.
If it is not I will feel upset on microsoft :)

With best regards,

Vitali

The new version SBF 9.0 has been released to manufacturing and is available
on MSDN. But the upgrade is minor at best. I'd wager to say that anything you
can do as far as integration is concerned with SBF 9.0 you could do with SBF
8.0 as the tables are essentially the same.

I can't see any info on SBF new version in PartnerSource.

The user's guides and such are there, but that's about it. I'm not sure on
the street date for SBF 9.0, but I'm sure it will be announced soon. Like I
said, its a minor release, so don't expect too much hype over it.

Minor is an understantement, it doesn't seem worth installing.

I spoke to a Microsoft rep. who said CRM 3.0 will intergrate with GP and SL
out of the box. She made no mention of the ability to intergrate with SBF.
SBF cost 2,600, base price on SL is 5,000. If you must buy a 1,500 module
why not just spead a little extra and buy the SL? Just my thoughts, hope this
helps.

SBF the same as GP (tables and so on).
If CRM will work with GP why it shouldn't with SBF? Any thought? Anybody
tried?
