excel macro to prompt user to select required file

Hi,
I am using Microsoft Excel 97. If I want to write a macro that will
prompt user to select the directory that he wants and then the
directory will just open as a window and display all the files in it,
so that the user will be able to just choose the file that he needs by
just clicking on the icon, how do I do it? Note that all these is done
by just clicking the icons.
Does anyone know how to write the program code for this?
