I just started using Excel 2007. In the older versions when I select a row,
column, or specific group of cells, Excel would highlight the group in a
certain color. In Excel 2007, it simply surrounds the selected group of
cells with a thick black line. I've tried going into Excel Options under
Advanced but couldn't find how to do this. Can you assist me in changing
this feature?

I have the same problem... However, it does use a color, a very, very,
very light blue(u can see this if you try to highlight a cell that is
colored dark blue). I cannot figure out where to change this..
HELP!!!, ITS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!

Just wondering if you ever found an answer to this. It's a horrible
selection color and my eyes always strain to actually see what has/
hasn't been selected. Changing the color scheme for the display
doesn't seem to affect Excel 2007 at all either. I'm not impressed
with MS Office Suite 2007.

I'm having the EXACT same problem! I called back in October to MS
support and they said its just me. Obviously, its not.

The funny thing is when I reinstall Excel (repair), it fixes the
problem temporarily and then randomly loses the highlight again! Very
annoying.

I also cannot see the highlighting because it is so light. I would really
appreciate an answer. If anyone finds one, please point us to it. Thanks.
