I am trying to solve an issue with Excel where when text is copied Excel closes unexpectedly. So far it has been traced to the default printer HP 9000 series. Has anyone encountered a similar issue and come with a fix other than changing the default printer? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Excel like most (all?) windows programs uses the printer driver to determine how to display the data.
If you haven't installed a fresh version of the printer driver from HP.com, I'd try that.

Dave - thanks for your reply. I've tried that and it still acts the same. We've tried the latest version and the plain vanilla 9000 version of the driver and it still happens. Thanks.
