I haven't seen any new printing options available for quite some time.
Surely there must be more options in 2009 than in 2003?? Here are the
ones I know about. Does any one know of any others?

PocketHTMLprint by Field Software - Prints only HTML documents. Does
an OK job.

PrintBoy by Bachmann - does not support color printing and has no
plans to do so. Also, must upload all documents before printing to
convert them. From PrintBoy tech support: “PrintBoy has to go through
a conversion process (by contacting our Remote Conversion Service via
an internet connection) when printing Word or PDF documents. This is
necessary to convert the document to a readable format on the handheld
device in order to be printed. You can read more about the specifics
in the documentation, http://www.bachmannsoftware.com/PrintBoyforWindowsMobileDocumentation.pdf

PrintPocketCE by Field Software - Although there is no SDK, there is
a command line that could be used within an application to print.
However, they are no longer updating/supporting this product.

PrinterCE by Field Software - Graphics printing directly from app. The
MFC version of PrinterCE has a couple minor issues as the build is
made for MFC and VB. However, the .NETCF version is very well done.

JETCET Print by WESTTEK - JETCET appears to be a new printing solution
for Windows Mobile 5. From their website, http://www.westtek.com/pocketpc/jetcet/,
it appears they have a very complete application. JETCET prints in
color, supports many printers and supports many document formats
including RTF and PDF. Their tech support says that an SDK for this
product will be available soon.

Active Print by Pocket Watch LLC - Active Print only queues up the
print jobs. When the PDA syncs with the PC, the prints jobs are sent
to the PC via ActiveSync and printed from the PC. Nothing can be
printed without the PC.

IneSoft - appears to be the German vendor for Field Software.

HP - HP came out with the HP Mobile Printing Software Developer's Kit
(SDK) for Pocket PC some time ago. The kit brings new print
functionality to existing applications and helps enable printing on
new Pocket PC devices. It's free, but in order to get it, you have to
qualify to be a 3rd party solution partner. This option may have been
discontinued.
