Client on server only shows one record in grids

We have a new AX 2009 SP1 hotfix rollup 5 installation.
When starting an AX client on the AOS server all grids only shows one record.

When running the client from a client computer, the data in the grids are
correct.

Any idea?

Actually the problem is not related to running on the server. If I update an
AX client from SP1 to hotfix rollup 5 and access the AOS from the client I
have the same issue.

We had this same problem and now we have the answer that worked for
us. On investigation, we found that the CLIENT kernel version was at
an EARLIER level than the Application Version! On a particular
server, a technical person had upgraded a TEST AOS to a higher kernel
level, while upgrading the CLIENT version of the Kernel. The problem
was that this CLIENT was also required to serve the LIVE system which
had the lower-level kernel.
