Compacting

Hi.

Something odd happens when I adjust reports.

It I take note of the database code size (data is somewhere else), and
I keep changing position of elements in a report (until everything
fits where it is supposed to), the code size always increase.

Of course it increases lot if I don't do 'Compact and Repair
Database'. The code has 30MB, it gets 100 after some 10 or 20
adjustments. But even after compressing, the code seems always to
increase.

I confirm, I an not adding anything, just moving couple of milimeters,
each time, as needed. Today, even just changing the position of a
couple elements, it increased from 28MB to 30MB (compacting, of
course).

This is normal. Best advice: let Access do what it does, and compact
whenever you feel like it.
