I believe the BDE (Borland Database Engine) is the problem. When that Pdox
table
was created the BDE was a version that had an incomatibility bug in it. I
had the
same problem when using Paradox 7 with Pdox 5 version tables
The only way I was able to fix it was to install the newest version of the
BDE so
Paradox will genereate a Pdox table in the correct format by running a query
against your old table and saving the results into a new table. You must
have
Paradox and BDE installed to do this. If your data is not too private nor
too large
zipped, I can offer to convert it for you.
Oh, more possibility. To use the MS ODBC driver:
Pdox table must be 8.3 naming, I.E. employee.db not employees.db and no
spaces.
Up to Pdox table version 5 is supported, cannot use Paradox table version 7
To import it into Access you do not have to go through ODBC, Access can
import it directly certain Pdox table versions. Open you Access db, right
click on
the tables tab, select import, choose the "Paradox (*.db)" from the "Files
of type"
drop down box and point to your Pdox table
BDE updates can be found at
