Hi there,

I've tried to clean up the team menu a bit (new group "Extensions", different order of entries) a bit and introduced a few icons from subversive as I like them better than the previous ones.

You can see the result in the attached screenshots. If you have any observations or suggestions, I'd like to hear about them!

Best regards,
Bastian

I like the new icon's they look great.
One thing springs to mind, I wonder if it is possible to have some visual differents to "local" repos compared to
external repos, for example the local "commit" and the remote "push" have the same symbol but operate on different
repos I do not have any idea on how to visualize this without making it unclear.

Also since Im a left to right reader Id like the orginal repo on the left and the arrow on the rigth e.g. "O<-" insted
of "->O" but as I think this is some kind of standard we should stick with it.

Maybe breaking from this standard could viusalize remote/local repo?
E.g. remote repo on the left and local repo on the right

"->O" commit
"O<-" push
"O->" pull
"^O" update (arrow upward)

Just an crazy Idea from an old man...
(also if this is the case should there be diffrent icon for right->left/up->down readers? That could mess up stuff
when you try to explain this to newbies)

Yeah, these are valid points. Probably this could be done by changing
the images to mirrored ones. I like that idea :).

Arrow upward could be tricky - I'm real bad at making icons, so I
doubt anything useful would come out of it. But if you can work with
the images to get a high quality one to look like that it would be
great.

Actually, localizing icons is afaik seldom done, as it's soooo
complicated. So I would skip this :).

i like the icons a lot, tx! what i really wish is something like
http://launchy.net for menu entries. this would have the advantage of:
* it remembers my personal preferred entries
* there is only one level
* it does not matter how a menu hierarchy exactly looks like

but i guess thats off topic :)

oh ... somebody pointed out that this function exists with "ctrl-3".
but it is working suboptimal: but typing "hg" you e.g. get no "pull"
or "update". a similar experience is typing "team", or "mercurial".

if "hg" shows all the mercurial commands i would not care where you
put the menu functions, how many levels you have, etc. :)

pressing "ctrl-3" should help to find commands by just typing them. if
you try to type "hg" just some of the mercurialeclipse commands / menu
entries show up. it would be great if all would be there.

examples: "hg pull" and "hg commit" do not show up.
