Hello,

I have a suggestion + Request here...

I would appreciate, if all of us can kinldy make a mass request for
Merb support in Netbeans > 6.6
since the Netbeans final version 6.5 will be out this week, the
Netbeans community will start accepting

request for future support in Netbeans 6.6 or greater version.

Currently few importtant things are holding Merb to grow faster and
that are...
(1) lack of proper IDE support like Netbeans
(2) lack of good documentation
(3) lack of beginner tutorials from scratch for newbies
(4) Lack of Good Books
(5) Having a support for something like " Heroku" for deploying your
Merb project online

I think the requirment one is perhaps the most important at this stage
as we can at least start creating

little projects with an IDE support.

I would like to know, how many developers here, thinks like me.

Thanks

Oh come on, NetBeans does not notice this app you gave it is not
really a Rails app but a Merb app with very similar layout.

This is true but the best way to fix it is not to write "massive
requests". Go do it, it is open source.

See above.

Merb 1.0 is just released, do you think writing a good book takes 2
days? You should try to write your own.

There is this thing called Engine Yard where real people deploy your
Merb projects and make it fly ;)

"mass requests" in open source world make me smile.

I didn't want to announce it yet, but oh well. I'm working with the NB guys to add Merb support to a future NB version.
