Hi,

maven can't download some archetypes (eg for zend framework). Could you check whether the repo is up and running? I can't reach : http://repos.php-maven.org/snapshots or http://repos.php-maven.org/releases.

I suspect it's discontinued - Martin, the maintainer has not posted or responded to email in the last 3 months, and none of his project members responds to email.

I suspect the same as well...have been trying for the past couple of days. Now I am cloning the repo....is Phing the way forward?

It's a pity. I just decided to give php-maven a try, coming myself from Java (and Maven).

Has any of you guys tried something else and can comment on other build tools/processes?
