Hi Folks

Second attempt at writing this e-mail (here's hoping I don't
inadvertently delete this one too). Following last nights meeting,
please find below a list of proposed future books for the group
accompanied by a brief summary of availability and occasional
tourettic coments:

- The Illuminatus trilogy, Robert Shea & Robert Anton Wilson, readily
available (but a bit of a mammoth)

- Deathworld, Harry Harrison, readily available (though I preer Deathworld 2)

- Ender's Game, Orson Scott Card, readily available (though some
might want to seek second hand copies for moral reasons)

- A canticle of Leibowitz (not Giblets), Walter M Miller Jr, readily available.

- War-Day, Whitley Strieber, assorted 'used and new' on Amazon.

- Synners, Pat Ca(r)digan, assorted 'used and new' on Amazon.

- Excession, Iain M Banks, readily available.

- Zoo City, Lauren Beukes, readily available.

- New Model Army, Adam Roberts, readily available.

- Rule 34 or Halting State, Charles Stross, both readily available.

- Embassy Town, China Mieville, readily available.

- Foundation, Isaac Asimov, readily available.

- A Fall of Moondust or Islands in the Sky, Arthur C Clarke, both
readily available (Tales from the White Hart was also suggested
although only a handful of 'used' appear on Amazon).

- Farenheit 451 (how not to treat a book), Ray Bradbury, readily available

- 1984, George Orwell, readily available (just look out for the un-words).

- Jurassic Park (Junior Novelisation), Michael Crichton, assorted
'used and new' on Amazon (or the original is still readily available).

Thanks, Guy, for checking the availability for our suggested future
books.

We'll be voting for our favourites at next month's meeting on Tuesday
16th August so please come along everybody!

P.S. Don't forget to read Anvil of Stars in the meantime ;-)
