I am Kanchan Deshpande, age 49 years. My right leg started paining 3
months ago on 2nd May 2011. It was severe, where in I could not sit
or stand. I went to Green View Hospital in HSR layout where I was
asked to take an MRI scan.
MRI Scan Revealed
1. Posterocentral And Right Paracentral Protrusion t L4 – L5 level is
compressing the thecal Sac, right L5 Traversing nerve root and causing
right lateral recess and moderate secondary canal Stenosis. Mild
flaval hypertrophy is also noted at this level.
2. Posterocentral Protrusion at L5-S1 level is indenting the anterior
Epidural FAT. No Significant Root Indentation or Foraminal Compromise.
3. Moderate Lumber Spondylotic Changes.
I was put on pain killers and was advised bed rest for 3 weeks. The
pain came down after the bed rest but when I got back to my daily
routine, the pain started again. I then approached a homeopath in
Koramangala with whose medication the pain was under control for 1
week. After I stopped the homeopathic medicines, the pain returned. A
friend of mine then suggested an accupressurist, who does treatment
through magnets. I went for 4 sessions with him but it did not help me
much. At this point, my condition was such that the pain was minimum
only, if I took bed rest. But being such an active and busy person, it
was very difficult for me to do this.
Finally, I found Mr Manas with the help of a friend, Chetana Keni.
When I came to Manas first (13-July-2011), my condition was pretty
bad. I was not able to sit and stand. I would limp. My structure had
changed with a slight bulge on my right side while walking. Manas
started treatment immediately. He had put few small magnets on my
fingers with the help of surgical tape (seen in my photograph attached
herewith). My pain reduced by 70 percent. Treatment included
acupressure using small magnets, breathing exercise, change in diet
and few home remedies.
I came in for another session on the 15-July-2011 with much reduced
pain. I still had pain when I used to sit and stand but with a few
more magnets that pain also vanished! I could not sleep on my right
side since my trouble started but after second session I am able to
sleep on my right side without any discomfort.
I came in for a third session on 18-July-2011. I feel much better and
feel about 90% relief. I came for review on 27- July-2011. Since
14-Aug-2011, I'm feeling 100% improvement. My stamina, duration of
sitting, standing and walking has also increased. I am able to attend
my office.
I'm continuing the treatment by myself as Mr. Manas taught me
everything to do at my own. All thanks to Manas.
