Almost a year back, I took my mother (65 yrs old) for a generic
medical checkup as she had quite a bit of breathing problem, throat
choking, Asthamatic, knee joint pain, loss of appetite, resulting in
weakness. So the idea was to get a thorough check up done and take
necessary precaution.
As it turned out, there was fluid around her lungs which had to be
drained and with the final report of the check up doctors concluded
she is in the final stage of lung cancer and nothing can be really
done apart from chemotherapy.
Knowing the way chemo works, its side effects and our doubts on it
being any productive at such an advanced stage of cancer we all
decided to go with the Yoga and ayurveda and got to know about Manas
from a friend Umang, ex-colleague of Manas in Tavant.
Manas did a thorough analysis of the case, suggested not only Yoga,
Ayurveda but also introduced us to Acupressure. Today, after about 11
months from the day we began this treatment:
- She is a lot healthier,
- has gained appetite,
- Seen a winter through without much of a breathing problem
- Can bend her knees
- Can speak louder
- Majority of her grey hair turned black
- No fluid seen in the last X-ray we took.
- Can walk longer distances without panting
- And the most important one, we never had to take her to hospital
during this period which we initially thought was going to be a
regular thing knowing the advanced stage she is in.
The credit goes to detailed analysis and treatment done by Manas and
dedication shown by my mother in following this treatment. Till now
it’s been a great experience, we never had to bother about the side
