Mania with Insomnia ... Update

My Brother Aazib Abdulla, aged 19 years is studying in B.Com 1st year
in Milagres College, Mangalore. He was a good student and involved in
all college activities. He was also good in Sports. Suddenly, one day
he had gone through a lot mental disturbance and agony. He used to
attend some religious gatherings and actively participating in them.
He was so much mentally disturbed that recently in his college exams
he ended up writing religious messages in examination sheets. He was
not in his hold. So we took medical help.
Doctor diagnosed him having MANIA. Doctor suggested allopathic tablets
with which he showed recovery after 2-3 days. Then he went back to
college again. After a week, the same mania got started and he was
more aggessive and shouting on everybody. He felt very irritated. He
started speaking aggressively with everybody at home and then he lost
control over himself by not sleeping for about 3 to 4 days. His
condition was becoming worse day by day. We went back to the doctor
again, but this time with strong tablets and strong dose made him
physically very weak and he was very drowsy. With strong sleeping
pills also he could not sleep. He was out of control. My friend Sumna
in Bangalore, recomended a yoga and magnetic theraphy, which she is
taking for her thyroid problem.
We started the treatment on 12-March. By 17-Mar-2011, we felt that he
has gone through a lot of changes after taking this treatment. He
started sleeping well now and his anger has come down to a great
extent. We feel that he has recovered more than 85%.
He is back to Mangalore and attending the college. He is better there
and following yoga and magneto therapy regularly. We will continue
the theraphy till it is required .... We believe that he will
completely come out of this mental distress with the treatment.
