Flash CS3 export to Quicktime

Hi guys - I am working on a flash presentation that will ultimately be exported
as a Quicktime movie then into DVD format (I hope). My file is under 100 MB and
when I attempt to export to QT - it gives me an error message "the export
operation failed because it ran out of memory". I am on PC but have fairly new
components (over 20GB of free space on my HD) and upgraded my RAM to 4GB today
and I still get this message using the "in memory" option for higher frame
rates. (I am at 24 FPS).. If I select "on disk" for longer movies - it works
but renders a terribly slow and choppy movie.. When the presentation was
smaller - it worked fine. Any ideas?

You might want to try uninstalling/reinstalling Flash

I have the same problem, I get the same error message. I haven't found a solution yet... I do have a long movie, but I am not aware of any limitations when it comes to exporting to QT. I know you can't have more than 16000 frames in flash, but I don't have as many frames, so it shouldn't affect me.

this problem is making me crazy right now. i BOUGHT a new super computer and it's choking on it STILL
maybe it's Vista? uch... Any suggestions would be great...

Don't use your RAM to render the movie.
When you export to quicktime — the first screen has a "Store Temp Data" option.
The default selection is "in memory" — select "On Disk" instead.
