How would I speak out a bulleted (or numbered) list in Lojban? I
want something like:
ni'o bridi bridi bridi
[start list?]
* [point 1] bridi bridi bridi
* [point 2] bridi
[end list?] bridi bridi bridi
ni'o bridi bridi bridi
I've wondered the same thing about tables, though that seems
moderately more complex.

I 2nd the suggestion of "mai". Also, you might be interested in
tu'e/tu'u, which group sentences together. Can someone remind me, I
always forget, do you need ".i" or "ni'o" between tu'e/tu'u groups and
between them and the sentences around them? Is it like:
broda .i brode .i
tu'e
tu'e broda .i broda tu'u .i
tu'e broda .i brode tu'u .i
tu'e broda .i brode tu'u
tu'u
.i broda .i brode
Or can I just say:
broda .i brode
tu'e
tu'e broda .i brode tu'u
tu'e broda .i brode tu'u
tu'e broda .i brode tu'u
tu'u
broda .i brode
Anyway, like one of those I think! :D

According to jbosi'e, you need the {.i}.
<snip>
OK thanks. Now can anyone explain to me a reason why that makes
sense, so I'll remember it? :) Can you have a tu'e/tu'u enclosed bit
as just part of a bridi, and if so what would that mean?
mi'e .telselkik. mu'o
"tu'e ... tu'u" works basically like a whole bridi. ".i" is not part of a bridi.
