autotools build system?

Hi all,

Would there be interest in a contribution of an autotools build system
for leveldb?
This would provide the usual make dist (to produce a tarball), make
install, etc, targets.

Thanks for the offer, but I would prefer to keep things as they are.
autotools can make it easier to port to new systems, but I would
rather update our simpler script instead of adding a very opaque system
to the build process. (I recently had the misfortune to try and figure
out what autotool generated scripts were doing for the snappy package
on my personal machine, and found it too confusing.)
