Seeking innovative carpenter (and others)

Hello,

Can anyone suggest a carpenter who might be interested in and willing to do some more experimental, creative designs than the typical furniture items usually made? We've worked with several carpenters who are good at making particular items in a certain way and are not very eager to experiment with new styles or techniques.  

We would like to try out some new ideas, potentially on plans we have found online  and are hoping to find someone to work with who would be interested in trying out some new styles, and is generally open minded, flexible and enjoys a challenge. 

I'd also be very interested in finding other types of tradespeople (welder, mason, etc) who are willing to try new techniques and/or experiment with alternative methods.

Additionally, if anyone has any suggestions for a plumber, painters, and other workers whose work they have really been impressed with, please let me know.
