Soul Fire Dance Brings Shimmy Mob to the Kootenays!

 

Join us and help break a world record with Shimmy Mob!
 
This “flash mob” event brings the joy of dance to the community and
raises funds for abused women and children shelters in the Kootenay area!
 
This year’s Shimmy Mob hits the streets Saturday May 12^th, 2012.

We are inviting trained dancers to volunteer to learn the exciting Shimmy Mob choreography that showcases different styles of belly dance. To qualify:

§  dancers must be 12 years or older (some exception can be made with parental permission of course);

§  preferably trained in disciplines such as jazz, modern, contemporary and/or middle eastern dances; and

§  have sufficient experience to master the Shimmy Mob choreography.

 

The choreography tutorials will be available privately online to those who register and will also be practiced live at Trillium Studio in South Slocan.
