Hi all,
Just in case key details about venue got buried in previous threads... If we can find a student group on Auraria campus to sponsor us, we can use the space in the Tivoli for free. If we can't get a sponsor to sign on by Feb 4 (that is, in a week and a half) then rental will cost $400*, plus extra to use their A/V equipment. Last I heard, Savannah was going to work with the Metro GSA to try to get us sponsorship -- Savannah, it sounds like you're the ideal person to do this, but if you don't think you'll have time, will you let me know and maybe give me contact info so I can work on it myself?

Is there a deadline by which we need to make the rental purchase?
In my next email, which I'll append to Rebecca's fundraising thread, I'll tell you about all the other things I've just done for fundraising.
