Hello,

I'm trying to get K9 to work with my own mail server. I'm running
Qualcomm's QPopper and only allow APOP authentication. My *cough*
iPod connects and authenticates just fine. But both the default
Android app and K9 both fail to authenticate giving me an "Invalid
username/password" error.

Does K9 not support APOP? FWIW, the iPod allows an authentication
method to be specified and is currently set for "MD5 Challenge-
Reponse".

Help?

Hey.

In the account settings ("Incoming server settings"): is
"Authentication type" set to "CRAM_MD5"? If not, then try that and see
whether it works.

Cheerio,
Oliver

For "Incoming server settings" there is no "Authentication Type"
option. I have only 'Username', 'Password', 'Pop3 Server', 'Security
Type', and 'Port'.

I have K9 version 2.803.

More ideas?
