Hi All,

I'm currently working on a project in Ubuntu using json-c. I'm keen to use version 0.10 for a number of reasons (including its improved handling of 64-bit integer types).

From my experiences so far with 0.10, it appears very stable and reliable, but can anyone comment on the outlook for an official 0.10 release? Is there a list of outstanding issues with the 0.10 branch (the 2 issues listed on github appear minor)?

Kind regards,

James.

Er... 0.10 is already officially released.  I guess I must have forgotten to send out a notification about it.  Sorry about that.

I'm planning on a 0.11 release sometime in the next couple weeks, so I'm expecting not to apply any bugfixes to the 0.10 branch.  Obviously, if there's something critical then I'll reconsider, but my free time to work on this is not unlimited. :)

Hi Eric,

Great news! Thanks for the update. I was looking for a release tar on http://oss.metaparadigm.com/json-c/, hence my confusion ;)

Kind regards,

James.

Oh yeah, that. We need to do something about that page, as it's been
a continual source of confusion for people. :(

Hi Eric,

Would it be possible to create a formal json-c-0.10.tar.gz file? Looks like atleast Debian, Ubuntu and Fedora are currently looking for new releases at http://oss.metaparadigm.com/json-c/ (Debian and Ubuntu are doing this automatically - can't comment for Fedora). This could be changed of course, but for Debian and Ubuntu that change would have to happen in step I believe.

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

James

It's already there on the downloads page on github:
