Hello everyone.

First off, thanks for your large number of mails regarding the info on
what SIM adaptors you are using with your iPhones.

It seems that there are a few "serious" vendors of SIM adaptors and
alot of cheap, crappy clones (mainly sold on eBay). Many users pointed
out that it's very important to buy a reprogrammable/upgradable SIM
adaptor (like TurboSIM - see the page in this group for more
information).

Why is this important?
Simple: If you buy a non-upgradable SIM adaptor and Apple decides to
change their own firmware (what will happen with 1.1.3), it will most
probably stop working with your iPhone. At that point you have
successfully wasted a lot of money for a SIM adaptor that now can go
to the garbage (as it is not heavy enough to be used as paperweight).

If you want to be on the safe-side, buy an upgradable SIM adaptor.
eMail the vendor before you buy it. Check their list of authorized
resellers and don't fall for cheap offers on eBay - they are probably
fake or crappy clones.

That's it for now.
Mike
