    Attached images are Machilus gamblei King ex Hook. f. [Syn.Machilus bombycina King ex Hook. f.] from Assam, known as Som in Assamese. It is another primary food plant for Muga Silk worm (Antheraea assama). Antheraea assama is endemic to Assam.
