Small annual herb, mostly procumbent, profusely branched, barely growing 10 cm high; leaves linear-lanceolate, 10-40 mm long, minutely hairy, margin often recurved; stipules small membranous; flowers white or tinged purplish, barely 1.5-2 mm across, solitary on long stalk or 2-4 in a cyme; pedicel 4-6 mm long, elongated in fruit; calyx teeth 1 mm long; tube less than 1 mm long, lobes 1 mm long; capsule globose, 2 mm long.
