Ranunculus distans Royle, Ill. Bot. Himal. Mts. 1: 53 53 1834.
syn: Ranunculus laetus Wall. ex Royle; Ranunculus pseudolaetus Tamura

Tall perennial herb with long petioled softly appressed hairy leaves, 2.5-3 cm across flowers, densely white hairy sepals with membranous margin, larger obovate petals and achenes in a globose head.
