No flowers fruits seen
Cultivated tree

May Be Sir but the person from that herbal garden were saying that it is Harad not bahera. Initially after seeing the label of plant ie Termialia tinctoria i got confused and when enquired they said we dont know scientific name but it is Badi harad( Large harad) so i wrote T chebula.

Differences between Madhuca and Terminalia chebula whose leaves can be confused are well illustrated in Pradip Kishan in Trees of Delhi. My book is in Delhi, if you have it handy, it will help you a lot. The primary difference is number of lateral veins.

Sir Now problem is Terminalia chebula and bellerica. My copy of the book Trees of Delhi was borrowed by a friend in Karnal and he didnt returned back. Monday i have to purchase a new one.

If the doubt between Madhuca and Terminalia, then latex character should also be helpful.

The branching pattern, size & shape of leaves, colour of young foliage, lvs glaucous beneath... all pointing to T. bellirica.
Let's here from others too.

Yes Vijaysankar Ji
many  mistakes by Forest Deptt persons in their Herbal gardens put us in trouble. Same was the problem in Tau Devi lal Herbal garden Chuharpur Yamuna nagar, the Biggest Herbal Park in 84 Acres in Haryana.
