Conyza canadensis from Kashmir

Common names: butterweed, Canadian horseweed, Canadian-fleabane, hogweed, horseweed

Annual herb, 50 cm to 2 m tall, branched mostly in upper part; leaves oblanceolate to linear, ciliolate along margin and hispid on nerves; heads small, 3-4 mm across, in branched panicles; ray florets white, disc florets yellow; phyllaries glabrous to strigose.

The plant can be easily differentiated from related C. bonariensis by its strict habit, numerous small heads and distinct white ray florets.
