Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type-, empty fields, Wild

lant Habit- Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb-Herb
Height/Length-approx - 1 feet approx, 
Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- Shape -Alternate, Toothed Margin, 3cms approx.
Inflorescence Type/ Size-
Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts-4cms approx, hairy bud and stem
Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds-  
Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.-

The plant looks like Sida cordifolia.

Yes, I agree with Vijaysankar that this is most probably Sida
cordifolia. If a picture that shows a complete leaf it would be easy
to confirm.

Beetle is a good catch...

What I would like to see is the flower "en face"
and complete leaf,

And these shrub/herbs produce flowers and seedpods ad infinitum...
so the beautiful very unique seed pod...
once you see one, you'll never forget it... as SIDA...
then one can further classify it using keys...

that's what I think....

In light of a recent upload by Bhagyashri ji (Maduri Raut) (ref:
http://groups.google.com/group/indiantreepix/browse_thread/thread/2afa5eac9d1b72c9?hl=en),
that the plant has identified as S. cordifolia, the plant in this
upload has to be revised.

I think a picture of mature leaves and habit of the plant would help
in confirming the id of the plant in this upload by Raghu ji.
