Taken at Jijamata Udyan, Mumbai, Maharashtra on 29/12/2007.
Very tiny leaves, a small plant, cultivated.

I doubt about the id of this as A. ficoidea

Again doubtful id. Please see the link for A. paronychioides. When you
scan through internet different species has been identified as
Alternanthera paronychioides by different people.

This is Alternathera ficoidea, now including several species formerly treated separately. Common edging plant. A. paronychioides is much different plant, recently uploaded by me.
