Sida acuta N. L. Burman, Fl. Indica. 147. 1768.

Herb or undershrub with distichous ovate-lanceolate leaves usually lighter green in colour and sparsely hairy to glabrous; flowers solitary or paired, yellow or whitish, 8-10 mm across; mericarps usually 6.
