Any amount of research has not stopped our city godfathers from
chopping down trees mercilessly. If anything, it seems like the amount
of destruction has been directly proportional to the amount of
research data available. (Now we don't have to do another research to
prove this ;-)) My idea is not to belittle the research, but it's
just that commonsense has become so uncommon. We have invented ACs
which guzzle humongous amounts of energy, to "manage" our micro and
macro climates but show such contempt for trees which do it for free.
