Prunus persica (L.) Batsch.

Common name: Peach

Small tree with long-lanceolate serrulate leaves, 6-15 cm long; flowers 1-2 together, pink to red 3-4 cm across; sepals pubescent. fruit tomentose, nearly globose, 4-7 cm, reddish-orange; stone strongly sculptured.
