I recently found this plant in a hill station. Help with ID please.

Hi Shanker ji,

This plant is Melastoma sps. probably Melastoma candidum (Family: Melastomataceae)

I would appreciate if you can share more information such as which
hill station (place) the habit of the plant and so on. It would be
better if you can follow the format of our group to upload pictures
with Id request.

Few suggestions, please try avoid back light when you take close up
shots and please try adjust your white balance (you can find the same
in the menu of your camera) so that you get the exact color of the
flower.
