Dear Friends,

You may already aware, we, a group of nature lovers have decided to start Tree Appreciation Walks in Mumbai.  Our aim is to create awareness and inculcate a love for the trees.  You are most welcome to join us for our walks.

The eleventh walk is on Sunday 13th February 2011                  

Venue:  Ranibagh also called Byculla Zoo,[VJB Udyan]

Time:  9.00 a.m.

Duration of walk:  2 hours

Meeting Point: Main gate, Near the ticket office.  Please buy your own entry ticket.  If you wish to carry your camera, kindly pay the camera charges too.

The Veermata Jijabai Bhonsle Udyan or simply Ranibagh or Byculla Zoo to Mumbai residents, is a botanical garden. It has 3000 trees [ 276 species]  .We have just shown you 60 species .During our next walk we shall be taking a different route and showing you 20 more species of trees.

Attached is the list of the climbers, shrubs and trees which we shall be showing you.

Please note  no plastic [including disposable water bottles] is  allowed.
