Habitat : deciduous forest, along trail

Plant
Habit : climber

Leaves
Type : trifoliate, alternate

Inflorescence
Type : lax cluster rising from axil

Not Rubia please, leaves are opposite and looking compound.

I think some Clematis species.

For me too this tri-foliolate leaves resemble Clematis sp.
