Eriobotrya japonica (Thunb.) Lind.
syn: Mespilus japonica Thunb.

Common names: Japanese medlar, loguat, Japanese

Medium size tree with up to 25 cm long, up to 7 cm broad leaves, rusty beneath; flowers up to 2 cm across, white; fruit yellow 2-3 cm long.
