Clinopodium umbrosum (M.Bieb.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen. Pl. 2: 514 1891.
syn: Calamintha umbrosa (M.Bieb.) Rchb.; Melissa umbrosa M. Bieb.

Ascending herb rooting at nodes, leaves opposite, sharply toothed; flowers in loose distant whorls; bracts shorter, not forming an involucre.
