gum of all kinds, as madhuri pejawar has informed, even karaya gum is used
to make laddus. gum serves as a binder for all the nuts; gum also contains
lot of muco-polysaccharides. this is what is tissue made of. gum provides
the raw material for proper healing of tissues, ligaments which were
stretched during pregnancy and delivery.
laddus stick in the teeth and are a nuisance to eat though
