Thanks, Shrikant ji,
It's really wonderful to know of your great venture & the efforts you have put in.
You always think & do things 'out of the box'.
I have gone through some of the details & it certainly appears to be a great product.
I am not very mobile friendly & have a three/ four year old ordinary mobile. So can't comment on its field use.
However, I am forwarding it to 'efloraofindia' for constructive feedback in the matter from the members.

Subject: IDSahydri Mobile Field Guide
To:
jmg...@gmail.comDear Mr. Garg,
Please accept my apology for not having responded on your request for Review and Evaluation of 'User Driven Learning'. I have been working on the mobile field guide for the flora and fauna of Sahyadri for the past few months. The application had reached a deadlock in the development and I was anxious that it needed to be abandoned or scraped. I had to even give up my business priorities for some time. That was the reason I could not attend to your request on review. Besides, the subject was also beyond my comprehension though I have learnt field botany on my own out of a need to write the books. I will come back to you with my detailed views on this matter some time later.
Fortunately IDSahydri, the mobile field guide is out of deep waters now. I have just uploaded the Free Evaluation Version on the website
www.idsahyadri.com I am also attaching a pdf for its introduction. I would like to have your feedback as a product, but beyond that I need your advise about how to circulate/communicate it to the possible users. I am poorly versed with internet and I consider you to be a Guru on this matter. I have not thought about marketing at the moment but that would be just 2 months away. The development has cost me a substantial and I would like to have your comments on how to price and market it. At the moment it is planned to be from a paid website.
I appreciate that you have recently shifted to Kolkata and may be still unsettled but could you find some time for this matter. I can not take professional help because the product will become unaffordable. This was the reason that I did every thing myself for the books so that they will be affordable.
I wait for your comments on above. Thanking you in anticipation and with regards
