Leptochloa panicea (Retz.) Ohwi in Bot. Mag., Tokyo. 55:311. 1941. 
Syn: L.  filiformis auct.; Hook.f. (non Roem & Schult.)
Common weed in fields and flower beds in Delhi in early summer.
